July 18, 2026. Our Mt Ranier National Park engagement recap !!! Aka the best weekend of my life!
Woke up at 5am to do my hair (lol) and rushed to get to the trail around 7. Saw this cutie on our way out of our air bnb (what a good sign)
Miraculously found parking and made our way up the trail. I was so nervous and kept oil blotting my face and trying not to drip sweat but it was so gorgeous.
(Hair looked so good btw worth the early wake up). We hiked up to the top and as we were setting up our tripod, someone I’d taken photos of earlier asked us if he could return the favor. Serg sprung it on them but they did so well I’ll treasure the photos forever! Writing what he said so I never forget: “I have something to tell you. I want to do this…forever. Will you marry me?” As he was putting the ring on my finger he said “it’s my grandmas”
The most beautiful, perfect day of my life. The most amazing proposal to the most incredible person and in the prettiest setting I could have asked for. Not to mention the ring from one of the most important people in his life!! Not only is the mountain I saw almost everyday of my life in the background, my now FIANCE had 2 of his friends hiding behind us so we had the most amazing view of the clouds. Those images captured how I felt in that moment- on to of the world.
Got to hike down and as we walked the clouds settled in. It added to the beauty and also made me so thankful that we had our moment with clear skies. Called Sam immediately also.
Spent the rest of our afternoon calling EVERYONE we love it was so perfect. And we enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and grilled a meal together.
Next day we watched the World Cup final with our friends and got to celebrate with them. And thank our secret photographers in person! It was a beautiful day.
